Four stills from “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, work in progress
“You’ll Never Walk Alone”* was filmed in the Tabernas Desert in Southern Spain, where Sergio Leone shot his classic Dollar trilogy. My father (Christer Pettersson) stars as an Indian in this work where he is being shadowed by, and finally confronted with his cowboy self. The title refers both to an old, blurry Liverpool FC tattoo on my father’s shoulder and to the fact that your sole permanent companion throughout life is also quite possibly your worst enemy; yourself.
