In 2002 the project space of Stedelijk Museum, SMBA, hosted Ask the Dust. It was a double solo exhibition together with fellow Swedish artist Pär Strömberg. My work focused on the death of a person who had been very influential to me and my friends during our teens. In the 2-channel video We Have to Talk About It we follow archeologist and mutual friend (Niklas Groop) as he’s aimlessly wondering around in the desert, looking for answers. The accompanying 3D-animation Chemical Warfare features six flickering vultures, each representing lost friends.
